EXPERICO WELCOMES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

 ExperiCo Agri-Research Solutions is handing over its leadership reigns to Dr Ian Crouch, who has been appointed as new Managing Director.

Crouch will take over this responsibility from Dr Johan Fourie, who is shifting his focus to scientific research and commercial services development. After faithfully serving the Fresh Produce Industry for 40 years, he will assist Crouch with the transition, from 1 May up to October 2019, when he will retire as full-time employee. Fourie’s years of experience will continue to benefit ExperiCo, as he will be appointed as a Senior Research Fellow in ExperiCo on a long term contract. He also remains a member of the Board of Directors.

Crouch, who acted as ExperiCo’s Director of Research, has been an integral part of the company for 26 years. He was awarded a PhD in Plant Physiology by the University of Natal in 1991 and has vast experience as a scientist and in management. “I am truly honoured to accept this position to lead the great team of dedicated people at ExperiCo, and look forward to working with our local and international customers in my new role as MD,” says Dr Crouch about his appointment.

ExperiCo works to serve the agricultural industry under various business entities, offering agricultural research and technological development, as well as advisory and commercial services, for the benefit of its clients.
